This population is recovering from a significant fish kill that occurred in 2024. Of the 19 bass captured in the 2025 electrofishing survey, 17 were juveniles between 4 and 5.5 inches. However, two adults were also captured, which measured 15.4 and 18.3 inches and demonstrated excellent body condition. Given the abundance of juvenile bass observed, the bass fishery will likely improve in the coming years.

This population is recovering from a significant fish kill that occurred in 2024. Bluegill captured in the 2025 electrofishing survey measured from 3.3 to 5.8 inches. Size structure should continue to improve over the next few years.

Channel Catfish will be stocked annually pending sufficient production at state hatcheries. Annual stocking is generally required in small ponds to maintain a population, as natural reproduction is often very limited or nonexistent.
