Largemouth Bass

In 2026, Largemouth Bass were collected at a rate of 10 fish per hour of electrofishing which does not meet or exceed the goal of 60 fish per hour of electrofishing. Fish collected in 2026, ranged from 9.1 – 19.1”. The largest fish sampled in 2026 weighed 4lbs. Catch rates have not been very consistent in this lake, ranging from 10 – 154 fish per hour during the past 4 surveys.

Channel Catfish

Average

Channel Catfish were sampled at a rate of 4 fish per hour of electrofishing in 2026. Fish ranged from 10.5 – 11.8”. Channel Catfish stockings are slated to occur on a biennial schedule on odd years.

Bluegill

Excellent

The Bluegill catch rate during the 2026 electrofishing survey was similar to the 2024 electrofishing survey (CPUE = 118) and met the management goal of 100 fish per hour. 10% of the catchable sized fish measured 8” or greater. This lake offers an excellent Bluegill fishery at this time.
