This pond is located on the EIU campus. Take Route 16 to Charleston, then go south on 4th St. Continue on 4th St. past Grant St. and make a right into the parking lot just north of the Softball Field. Continue straight, and you will find parking near the pond. Parking can also be found on the south end of the pond, which is accessed further south on 4th St. Both parking lots have restrictions on when parking is allowed without a permit, so be sure to follow all posted signage.
