Description

This is an 18-acre public lake located at Silver Lake Park. The lake has good shoreline access.

Fishery History

Both bass and Bluegill are present in good numbers in this lake. The Bluegill quality is poor but quality sized Largemouth Bass are present. The lake also provides a good fishery for additional species including crappie, Channel Catfish, Common Carp, and Redear Sunfish. I am satisfied with the current status of this fishery and feel it should provide good opportunities for anglers of all skill levels for multiple species. Channel Catfish stockings for this lake have been reduced to every other year unless hatchery production increases. The supplemental stocking of Rainbow Trout continues to provide an additional angling opportunity at this lake.
