Chillicothe Park District has a series of three small ponds that are located on the northwest edge of the City of Peoria in Stone Water Park. Stone Water Park is located in a neighborhood to the west of Hickory Grove Grade School at 11107 North Granite Street, Dunlap.

Description

Stone Water Park is a 16-acre park that contains three ponds that total 4 surface acres. The park has a 1-mile long walking/biking trail and a nature themed playground with benches and picnic tables. All three ponds have very good shoreline fishing access.

Fishery History

These three ponds are shallow, fertile, water retention basins that contain Largemouth Bass and Bluegill sport fisheries.

Site Regulations

Site-Specific Fishing Regulations:

All Fish: 2 pole and line fishing only and each pole must not have more than 2 hooks or lures attached while fishing
Bluegill or Redear Sunfish: 25 Fish Daily Harvest Limit
Channel Catfish: 6 Fish Daily Harvest Limit
Large or Smallmouth Bass: 18 inch Minimum Length Limit; 1 Fish Daily Harvest Limit
