Fishery History

The fishable waters at Ten Mile Creek are a combination of strip cuts from mining activities to man-made ponds; therefore there is a great amount of variability on this site. Common warmwater sportfish, such as Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, and crappie are prevalent in most lakes.  Channel Catfish are also stocked in several lakes annually.

Site Regulations

There is a 10 horsepower motor limit in effect for all boats at Ten Mile Creek.  Areas designated as waterfowl rest areas are closed to all access during the Canada goose season only.
