Description
Woods Lake was rehabilitated several years ago, and it was opened for catch and release fishing in 2016 and current fishing regulations in 2017. The lake has two handicap accessible fishing piers, parking, and an accessible boat dock. There is a concrete boat ramp. Watercraft may only use trolling motors in this lake.Fishery History
When this lake was rehabilitated, it was restocked with Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Redear Sunfish, Black Crappie, and Channel Catfish. Unfortunately, Common Carp and bullheads may have survived upstream of the lake in a small creek and repopulated the lake after the rehabilitation.Site Regulations
There is an electric trolling motors only motor restriction on Woods Lake.
