Description

This 3-acre, spring-fed pond has the entire shoreline accessible to anglers with a paved surface.

Fishery History

Glen Oak Lagoon is annually stocked with Hybrid Bluegill, bullheads and Channel Catfish for the summer time IDNR urban fishing program. The lagoon also contains a low density population of Largemouth Bass, Bluegill and Common Carp.

Contact the Peoria Park District to sign up for summer IDNR fishing clinics at Glen Oak Lagoon.

Site-Specific Fishing Regulations:

  • All Fish: 2 pole and line fishing only and each pole must not have more than 2 hooks or lures attached while fishing
  • Channel Catfish: 6 Fish Daily Harvest Limit
