Description: Bluebill lake is a 30-acre strip mine lake located east of Super Lake. There is no boat launch at this lake. The lake can be accessed on foot by following a short trail from the parking area off of Panda Bear Road. Due to the relatively short walking distance to reach the lake, anglers with a kayak or canoe will likely find an opportunity to fish in seclusion.
History and Status of the Sport Fishery: Bluebill lake was sampled once during 2008. A 15 minute electrofishing survey yielded an abundance of small largemouth bass, as well as bluegill and redear sunfish. Multiple redear sunfish in the 8-9" range were collected and demonstrated excellent body condition. In summary, this lake should provide promising angling opportunities for panfish anglers.
Additional Lake Information: Note: There is no motor HP limit, but all boats must be operated at no wake speed.
