- February 13 – 16 QCCA Fishing, Hunting and Outdoor Adventure Show
QCCA Expo Center, Rock Island, IL
Come on out and visit with the IDNR at the QCCA Fishing, Hunting and Outdoor Adventure Show. Tickets are $8 for adults, $1 for kids aged 6 to 15, and kids under 6 are free.
- Thursday: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM Note: Friday is Veterans & Seniors Day (All Veterans and anyone over age 65 enters for $6.00)
- Saturday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Sunday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

August 2025
- August 7 – 17 Illinois State Fair
Conservation World, Springfield, Illinois
Come visit the IDNR at the Illinois State Fair. The Division of Fisheries is on-hand daily, providing fishing clinics and demonstrations throughout the day. We will also have the live fish display, Touch a Fish for kids of all ages, a kid's pond fishing and the fishing clinics. In addition, IDNR Fisheries Biologists are available to answer questions about private pond management and the fish population in your favorite lakes and rivers. Plans are still underway so be sure to check back for fishing clinic times and more information.
